Activate Mobile Banking in your mobile telephone!

In order for you to be able to use the GE Money Bank Mobile Banking in the Vodafone network, you only need to:

  • Have a current CZK account at GE Money Bank
  • Be a client of Vodafone Czech Republic a.s., which operates the Vodafone network
  • Have a mobile telephone that supports the SIM Toolkit
  • Own a banking SIM card active in the Vodafone network – which can be obtained at Vodafone brand shops or through the Vodafone Customer Care Line 800 770 077 and Vodafone Contact 800 777 777.
Activating Mobile Banking in the Vodafone Network

  • When you sign a direct banking agreement, we will activate the Mobile Banking application in your telephone’s menu by sending you an activation SMS. You can then start using your Mobile Banking no later than on the following business day.
  • Look up “Vodafone/M-Banka“ in your mobile telephone’s menu.
  • Enter your MPUK.
  • You will then be asked to enter your MPIN. Choose your own MPIN – any four-to eight-digit number.
  • Enter your MPIN again to confirm.
  • Select GE Money Bank, and you are in your Mobile Banking.

Vodafone M-Payments (M-Platby)

Mobile Banking in the Vodafone network will now allow you to recharge a pre-paid SIM Vodafone Card for yourself or anyone else, pay your invoice, or pay in advance for services invoiced to you or your loved ones by the mobile operator Vodafone, or increase your calling deposit. For these services, you can pay directly from your current CZK account with Mobile Banking.

How the Services Work

Send your request for a payment from your current CZK account through Mobile Banking, from the “M-Payments” menu. GE Money Bank will carry out a check and send you an SMS to inform you that your request will be submitted to your mobile operator for processing. The Bank will then execute your payment order and the operator will execute the operation on its side (e.g., recharge your Vodafone Card). By SMS, the mobile operator will inform both you and the person in whose benefit the transaction was carried out, about the successful execution of your request. The payment from your account will be executed immediately, regardless of any other payment orders or transactions in your account.

If you don’t have the Vodafone M-Payments service activated, visit the GE Money Bank branch maintaining your current account to get the Vodafone M-Payments service activated for free.

You can order a tax receipt for the Vodafone Card recharge at the VodafoneLine 800 770 077 (or *077 from a Vodafone mobile).

Vodafone Recharging

With this service, you can recharge any pre-paid Vodafone Card directly from your account, at any time and anywhere. You can recharge not only your SIM card, but also the Vodafone card of anyone else (family, friends, acquaintances…). The values recharged can be CZK 250, CZK 500, CZK 1,200, or CZK 2,400. The overall amount you can recharge in a month is up to CZK 3,000.

How to go about it?

  • In your telephone menu, under the “Vodafone” item, select “M-payments”/”M-Platby“, enter your MPIN, and select “Vodafone Payments”/”Platby Vodafone“ – confirm OK.
  • Select “Recharge Vodafone Card”/”Dobit Vodafone Kartu“ – OK.
  • Select the amount you wish to put on the Vodafone Card (CZK 200, CZK 400, CZK 1,000, or CZK 2,000) – OK.
  • Enter the Vodafone telephone number (9 digits) that you wish to recharge.
  • Select the payment method as “Bank Acct.”/"Bank. úèet", choose GE Money Bank, and enter your current CZK account number (if it has a prefix, separate it by a * symbol).
  • Select “Submit”/”Odeslat“. Your recharging request is immediately submitted to the Bank!

Invoice

With this service, you can immediately pay an invoice for services provided by the operator of the Vodafone network directly from your account, e.g., the monthly invoice for your plan. The maximum amount per payment and the maximum amount you can pay in one month in this manner is CZK 5,000. You can only pay the invoice from the mobile telephone to which the invoice being paid is related.

How to go about it?

  • In your telephone menu, under the “Vodafone” item, choose “M-Payments”/“M-Platby“, enter your MPIN, and select “Vodafone Payments“/“Platby Vodafone“ – confirm OK.
  • Choose “Invoice“/“Faktura“ – confirm OK.
  • Enter the amount in CZK, without haller items (at least CZK 100) – OK.
  • Enter invoice number – OK.
  • Select the payment method “Bank Acct.”/“Bank. úèet“, choose GE Money Bank, and enter your current CZK account number (if it has a prefix, separate it by a * symbol).
  • Choose “Submit”/”Odeslat“. Your request for an invoice payment is immediately submitted to the Bank!

Advance Payment

With this service, you can immediately pay an amount for the services provided by the operator Vodafone, before you receive an invoice for payment, e.g., the monthly invoice for your Vodafone plan, directly from your account. The maximum amount per payment, and the maximum amount you can pay in one month in this manner, is CZK 5,000. This service can be used both by clients using pre-paid Vodafone cards and clients with Vodafone plans. The telephone number in favour of which the amount is paid, however, must have a tariff plan.

How to go about it?

  • In your telephone menu, under the “Vodafone” item, choose “M-Payments”/"M-Platby", enter your MPIN, and select “Vodafone Payments“/"Platby Vodafone" – confirm OK.
  • Select “Advance Payment”/"Platba predem" – confirm OK.
  • Enter the amount in CZK you wish to pay (at least CZK 100) – OK.
  • Enter the Vodafone telephone number (9 digits) in favour of which you wish to pay the amount.
  • Select the payment method “Bank Acct.”/"Bank. úèet", choose GE Money Bank, and enter your current CZK account number (if it has a prefix, separate it by a * symbol).
  • Choose “Submit”/"Odeslat". Your request for an advance payment is immediately submitted to the Bank!

Topping Up Your Calling Deposit

With this service, you can immediately top up your calling deposit (ASL), which you made when activating your Vodafone tariff plan. The maximum amount per payment, and the maximum amount you can transfer in one month in this manner, is CZK 5,000. This service can be used both by clients using pre-paid Vodafone cards and clients with Vodafone plans. The telephone number in favour of which the amount is paid, however, must have a tariff plan.

How to go about it?

  • In your telephone menu, under the “Vodafone” item, choose “M-Payments”, enter your MPIN, and select “Vodafone Payments“/"Platby Vodafone" – confirm OK.
  • Select “Calling Deposit”/"Volaci zaloha" – confirm OK.
  • Enter the amount in CZK you wish to pay (at least CZK 100) – OK.
  • Enter the Vodafone telephone number (9 digits) in favour of which you wish to pay the amount.
  • Select the payment method “Bank Acct.”/"Bank. úèet", choose GE Money Bank, and enter your current CZK account number (if it has a prefix, separate it by a * symbol).
  • Select “Submit”/"Odeslat". Your request for topping up your deposit is immediately submitted to the Bank!
