Options in the SMS Service

Receiving text messages about account transactions from an amount the client sets (with the option to monitor only income, only expenses, or only transactions made with a payment card, if debited from a current account). Regular information about a balance, with the frequency determined by the client.

Activate Mobile Banking in your mobile telephone!

In order to be able to use the GE Money Bank Mobile Banking in the O2 network, you only need to:

  • Be an O2 client
  • Have a mobile telephone that supports the SIM Toolkit
  • Have an active banking SIM card – you can get it at O2 brand shops
  • Have a current CZK account at GE Money Bank.

Activating Mobile Banking in the O2 Network

  • When you sign a direct banking agreement, we will activate the Mobile Banking application in your telephone’s menu by sending you an activation SMS. You can then start using your Mobile Banking no later than on the following business day.
  • Look up “MENU/O2/BANKING“ in your mobile telephone
  • Select "GE Money Bank".
  • Enter your Bank PIN.
  • Proceed according to the clearly structured menu on the display of your telephone.

Please remember your Bank PIN well. Also save your Bank PUK in the event of a future change of your Bank PIN.

Go Recharging

With this service, you can recharge any pre-paid Go Card, directly from your account. You can recharge not only your own SIM card, but anyone else’s (family, friends, acquaintance…). The overall amount you can recharge in a month is CZK 3,000. You can recharge any amount ranging from CZK 200 to CZK 3,000 - the amount must be in whole crowns.

How to go about it:

  • In your “GE Money Bank“ menu, select the “Go Recharging”/„Dobij Go“ item.
  • Upon the query “From account?”/„Z uctu?“ , enter the number of your CZK account (if it has a prefix, separate it by a * symbol) and confirm. On certain telephones, you only need to check and submit the number you used last time.
  • Upon the query “Tel. No.”/„Tel. c.?“ , enter the 9-digit telephone number (without the first zero), for which you wish to have the credit recharged.
  • Upon the query “Amount”/„Castka?“ , enter the amount you wish to recharge.
  • Once the amount is entered, the recharging request is automatically and immediately submitted to the Bank!
